Riders of Berk DVDs and HTTYD 2 Update

According to TVShowOnDVD.com, we should expect the first season of Riders of Berk to come out on DVD on July 23rd. It seems like one DVD will contain the first eleven episodes and the second the last nine.

Additionally, in early June, there will be a sneak peak of How to Train Your Dragon 2 at the Annecy International Animated Film Festival in France with Dean DeBlois and Bonnie Arnold featuring clips and images of the sequel! From the press kit:

For the very first time at a WIP session, DreamWorks will divulge the production secrets of their second work of How to Train Your Dragon 2 in 3D, the second act of a trilogy. A not-to-be-missed WIP.

New Soundtrack for Riders of Berk

Here's a recent interview with John Paesano, the Annie Award winning composer for Riders of Berk about what it's like to compose for animation and for Dragons in particular.

It also mentions that they are currently working on making a 60-minute soundtrack for the first season of Riders of Berk! Combined with the film score, we now have over two hours of dragon music to listen to!

More Dragons 2 Trademarks

DreamWorks registered several new trademarks related to How to Train Your Dragon 2 on May 4th, some of which may will be familiar to you if you saw the leaked movie photos:
