New dragon toys?

It looks like we may be getting a new set of How to Train Your Dragon toys! This set features some of the new dragons from the "Book of Dragons" short and, according to the website we found, will be sold by Spin Master just like the first set of toys.

The prototypes, which were created by Mana Studios, supposedly have 14-inch wingspans. Now those are some giant dragons (relatively speaking)!

  1. This is interesting. I've seen these models on this site a long time ago, but I did not know that these models were toys. I just did not watched the second image of each model. xD
But I assumed that there will be toys. That's good. :)

  3. Yeah, I pot that site in my favorites to study the Skrill model, I didn't know this back then either.

  4. In my opinion they look like models not toys.

  5. Maybe we'll have another contest and give away the toys.

  6. How interesting. The Skrill looks incredible, and the chocolate Scauldron looks good. ^^ I guess we'll be seeing these in McDonald's one of these days?? Then again, 14 inches can't fit in a Happy Meal...

  7. Great idea! I can't wait already. :)

  8. This is weird, but I like the ones on the left better than the painted ones XD Those are so cool!!!

  9. I am SO THERE. I didn't have my stories with me last time.

  10. We'll have to see, cause chances are we'll just have to buy them ourselves and give them away. Which I suppose I don't mind as long as they're not too expensive...Besides these look more like collectibles then toys.

  11. Where would you even get these? Amazon? If they're being made for HTTYD 2, then it's going to be a pretty long wait.

    ReplyDelete
  12. No!! They can't make them for HTTYD 2!!!!! That's an eternity away!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! DX

  14. I hope the Scauldron is actually made out of chocolate, or I'll be seriously disappointed.

  15. So gorgeous! :') And wow, they'll be massive. I have a 13-inch Night Fury and it's HUGE. Imagine a whole rack of theses things!

*so going to creep out her roommate this year*

*Roommate already thinks she's rooming with a 10 year old boy*

  16. He might be right, you never know. Plus I don't see Dreamworks making a huge deal to sell toys to advertise Riders of Berk...so it probably is for the second movie.

  17. Haha, will they start giving out Chocolate Scauldrons for Valentine's Day?

    ReplyDelete
  18. I don't know about Scauldrons. But they should definitely make some chocolate Snaptrappers. :)

  19. Hey, do you have any photos of that prize?? I'd love to have a 13-inch Toothless!

  22. Wow awesome, I would like to buy one for collection or without color (for painting I mean) because one of my hobbies is build Aircraft to scale and paint a dragon specially of the Movie will be an excellent challenge :)

  23. Those look really good! Especially the skrill and the scauldron; the paint on the thunderdrum prototype seems a little heavy-handed to me, but who knows, it may change when they get closer to production. (Neat that they have virtual models! I guess the "RP" stands for "Rapid prototyping"/3d printing. It's increasing my desire for my own 3d printer!)

  27. Wow, that's one cool Night Fury! Thanks for the vid. $100? Ouch. Glad you got it for much cheaper than that. I love what you did with it for your avatar. It's really beautiful.

  28. Shore! And yeah... wow. Now I know what to sell if I need quick bucks! XD

No, I would never sell it. I like freaking out my college friends with it. XD *they come to my dorm room.* Me: HAVE YOU SEEN THIS YET?? *DIVEBOMB NOISE* *People running away from my dorm room*

Thanks! It was just a random cell phone picture I took for a intro to Photography class. Turned out really well! XD

    ReplyDelete
  29. Ha, LOL! I can see why it's fun to dive bomb everybody. I'm sure half of them don't appreciate HTTYD. ^^

Yeah, a cell picture can turn out pretty good. :)
