Gerard Butler: Valka is Stoick's wife

In a recent interview, Gerard Butler mentioned that Valka (voiced by Cate Blanchett) his wife in How to Train Your Dragon 2. Although he never actually says if she is Hiccup's mother, it's likely that she is indeed the previous owner of Stoick and Hiccup's helmets.

From what we learned at the Comic-Con panel, Valka is a "crazy dragon lady" who rescues dragons from traps and is now responsible for a whole colony of dragons.
